Historic House Malabar Farm

We went on a tour of the historic Malabar Farm. It was the home of writer Louis Bromfield.

Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married here.

And cut their cake in this nook of the dinning room.

And stayed here for their wedding night.

Grandma Moses painted two pieces that hang in different rooms of the house.

Which I thought was a pretty cool surprise!

We toured bedrooms (this one has the original carpet).

This was my favorite bedroom. See me in the mirror?

This was the stairwell from up stairs.

There was a poem written by EB White too.

Our tour guide provided us with lots of stories and a bit of a picture into the lives of these famous people.
