Homemade Clothes Pin Mermaid Craft Kit

The girls were invited to an Under the Sea birthday party. I was trying to think of a gift that would fit just right when I found these clothes pin mermaids.

So...we decided to put together a Clothes Pin Mermaid Craft Kit.

It is super cute and easy. 

I started by making a label  for the box with directions.

Then I attached it with my sticker maker to the top of a small suitcase. The suitcase makes a wonderful way to transport the mermaids for a travel toy.

I added some blue confetti to the case, which makes a lovely sea to play with the completed mermaids.

We put a large shell for playing with once the mermaids were put together, small shells of different kinds and sizes, and some shell sequins.

Yarn in different colors for hair.

Foam fins that are designed to slide right into the clothes pin body.

Paints and a brush for painting on "clothing" and faces.

Clothes pins are a must, of course!

And then for the glitter glue.

And finished.
