Homemade Birthdays: Keepsakes

We have a lot of fun with birthday parties around here.
We spend time together planning them and try to be as creative as we can making and using what we have on hand to put them together. We always try to think of something special for our guests to take home.

Sometimes we make something special to send with them. Lots of times we send the craft we've made. Other times game prizes or pinata candy. Occasionally, I've even sent decorations home with guests.

We've sent home animal balloons from a circus party, prizes from the games at a carnival party, flower pots from a flower garden party, ducks from a duck hunt, wooden boat that was built as a craft, science creation from science museum party, maracas (that we painted) from a music party, and kaleidoscopes from a Pirate movie party.
