Outdoor Tenting: Making your own Tepee Tent

Here's a bit of fun with little time and materials required...
Make your own outdoor tepee style tent with...

8 Sticks-bamboo, wooden sticks, dowels, or garden posts;
twine;
6 clothes pins;
and
sheets.

Tie the sticks at the top with the twine. I tied it once and twisted it around and then made a box knot to keep it secure.

Sit it upright, pulling the sticks where you would have them with an opening.

Using clothes pins secure your sheet around the sticks.

Place a second sheet (and some pillows if you desire) inside for a sitting area.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,

Thanks Ladies.

To make it even more sturdy, you could pound them into the ground and then tie them at the top.

We wanted ours on the deck though, so no pounding! :)
