We have 2 doll quilts in the works and a quilt for Little Man's bed.

Wow. Did the girls put the patches together, and do the sewing themselves, or did you help?

I'm cutting and marking hems. They are sewing. They've been hand sewing for about 2 years, so they are comfortable with it.

Is it hand sewing or machine? I've started Hadassah (7) on hand sewing (mending) and Phebe (5) on embroidery (straight stitch).

Right now, they are working on hand sewing the squares. Later, they may get to the sewing machine. They' ve taken a couple of sewing classes, so they know safety precautions and the basics.
