Crayon Recycling: Making Crayon Blocks

Making crayon blocks from broken crayons is super easy.
What you need:
old muffin tin
broken crayons
oven

1. Remove the paper from crayons.
2. Put them in the muffin tins until they are even with the top of the pan.
3. Put them in an oven heated to 170 degrees.
4. Remove occasionally and stir with a toothpick.

5.After all of the crayons are melted (about 1 hour), remove and allow to cool until solid.

6. Pop out of pan.

7. And color (or build a tower) with your blocks!

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
