From the introduction chapter (a how-to for using the book),
it has exceeded my expectations.
What a beautiful beginning to a book!
This book is designed as a handbook for parents with side margins that are large enough for notes and boxes that paraphrase the important information from the text.
The author, Sharifa Oppenheimer, starts with the needs of babies and works her way through early childhood. She explains how children learn, how to create rhythms within your home, how to create festivals and celebrations, how to develop the culture of your family, how to facilitate artisitic expression, and how to provide indoor and outdoor play spaces.
Heaven on Earth is one of the those books that you read and take notes on, that you are excited to try, that gets you moving and inspired.
Wishing you homeschool blessings,
