Roads from Jeans

Here's another great idea
for keeping little ones busy
when it is time to wait...

Make roads out of a pair of jeans.

You'll need old worn out jeans,
scissors, no-fray, and yellow fabric paint.
Cut various road type designs out of the jeans.
Apply the no-fray according to directions and let dry.
Paint the dotted lines down the middle and let dry.

Fold them up and put them into one of the leftover jeans pockets.
Add a couple of cars
and you've got a great play thing
for car trips, restaurants, doctor's offices,
and just about any waiting you're little
fellows will be doing.

Here's another post about making your own drawing paper
to take along when you're waiting.

This idea was inspired by lil Mop Top.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany
