Green, Green Napkin Holder

We are trying to be greener around here,
so we made a napkin holder from recycled materials.

We started with torn paper...

okay...a lot of torn paper

and a corner of a cardboard box.

We mixed white school glue with water and
pulled the paper through and shaped it over the cardboard.

We let dry and applied 2 more strips.

We painted it green.

Then tied raffia around it.

We also made homemade napkins.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany

I like this! I have been looking for a paper mache type project for my 10 year old that would dry in our Northwest Rainy season. This would be great!
