Butterflies from our own Paper

Inspired by Miss Patty from Deep Space Sparkle, we made our own butterflies.

First, we made our paper by painting it with tempera paints.
When it dried, we used a butterfly template to trace and cut out the parts.
Then we glued them on a background.
Finally, we drew designs (with some symmetry) on them.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany

Very cute! I love this idea. I think my 8 year old and 3 year old would both love doing this project. Thanks for the idea!
